Sunday Brunch Clubs in Marbella: How the Long Sunday Party Works, What It Costs and What to Wear

Visitors arrive expecting a bottomless brunch: a set price, a menu and two hours of prosecco. Marbella does it differently. The long Sunday here is a beach-club day that starts around noon, finds its DJ at about two and ends at seven, and you pay for it through a bed whose Sunday price includes drinks credit. In 2026 Marbella's Sunday brunch clubs are beach clubs, chiefly Nikki Beach, La Sala by the Sea and Ocean Club, running from about 12:00 to 19:00, with Sunday beds from about €255 for two including credit and smart beachwear as the dress code.

What Is a Sunday Brunch Club in Marbella?

A beach club's Sunday, not a brunch package. You book a bed or a lunch table, eat from the restaurant while the DJ builds through the afternoon, and stay until the club closes at about 19:00. On Sundays the bed price includes prepaid credit for food and drink, which does the job a brunch package does elsewhere.

Beds and Credit, Not a Set Menu

At La Sala by the Sea, the bed price from Thursday to Sunday includes a food and drink credit that is prepaid and deducted from the bill on the day; Monday to Wednesday you pay for the bed alone. Nikki Beach sells every bed as a package of a bed charge plus credit for its bottle list. Ocean Club includes bottles of Perrier-Jouët in its bed prices. The Shape of the Day

• 11:00 to 12:30: arrive and claim the bed; La Sala releases unclaimed beds after 12:30.
• 13:00 to 15:00: lunch at the bed or in the restaurant; Nikki Beach holds restaurant tables for two-hour sittings.
• About 14:00: the DJ starts at La Sala by the Sea.
• About 17:00: on Ocean Club's champagne-party days, a spray box of six bottles of Veuve Clicquot reaches each booked bed.
• 19:00: Nikki Beach and La Sala close; Ocean Club runs to 21:00.

Where the Long Sunday Runs in 2026

Three beach clubs carry the format: Nikki Beach on Don Carlos beach in Elviria, La Sala by the Sea and Ocean Club in Puerto Banús. In town, La Sala Banús runs live music all day on Sundays, and in East Marbella, La Plage Casanis turns Sunday afternoon into its Sunset Ritual. The table compares them.

Nikki Beach: Amazing Sundays

Nikki Beach runs a branded night for each day it opens, and Sunday's is Amazing Sundays, from 12:00 to 19:00, which the club bills as the one everyone talks about. It opened in 2003 on the beach of the Don Carlos hotel in Elviria and is now open Thursday to Sunday, with the 2026 season closing on Sunday 11 October. Puerto Banús: La Sala by the Sea, Ocean Club, La Sala Banús

La Sala by the Sea, on Avenida José Banús, has daily DJs from about 14:00 and bank-holiday parties; in 2026 Sunday 24 May and Sunday 30 August were special event days with their own prices. Ocean Club, with its 9,000 square metres around a saltwater pool, opens from 11:00 to 21:00 and says weekends bring large groups, so it suggests weekdays for young children. For a Sunday that is lunch with music rather than a pool, La Sala Banús on Calle Juan Belmonte runs live music all day on Sundays and offers free valet parking.

What Does a Sunday Brunch Club Cost?

On a Sunday you prepay a bed that includes credit. At La Sala by the Sea, a swim-up lounge bed for two is €255 with €100 of credit, and a deck bed for four €400 with €180. At Nikki Beach a deck bed for six is €600 on May and September weekends, €450 of it credit. Food and drink beyond the credit is extra.

What Sunday Adds to the Bill

La Sala by the Sea's 2026 bed menu prices Monday to Wednesday and Thursday to Sunday separately: a single pool sunbed is €65 or €120, a deck bed for four €185 or €400, a cabana for eight €350 or €800, the Sunday prices including €40, €180 and €350 of credit. At Nikki Beach the weekend adds credit rather than bed charge: a deck bed in May or September is €500 on a weekday and €600 at weekends, and a pool cabana in July €1,100 or €1,450. A Couple's Sunday, Priced

Two people at La Sala by the Sea on a Sunday: a swim-up lounge bed at €255, of which €100 comes back as food and drink, plus lunch and drinks beyond that, plus La Sala's 10% service charge on food and drink. At Nikki Beach in October, a beach bed for up to six is €350, of which €290 is credit and €60 the bed charge, paid at reception. Ocean Club's three-person beds cost €300 with a bottle of Perrier-Jouët. In our experience a Sunday for two at any of them runs €400 to €700 before the evening.

Prepayment and Refunds

Every Sunday bed is prepaid. Nikki Beach takes the bed charge plus a 5% fee in advance and the balance on arrival; cancel in writing at least 24 hours ahead and you get a credit voucher for the season, not cash. La Sala requires full prepayment. Ocean Club's beds are non-refundable, with weather moves or a season credit, and its VIP minimum spend is paid at reception on arrival. What to Wear to a Sunday Beach Club

Beach chic, not beachwear. Nikki Beach asks for beach chic resort wear and requires shoes, a cover-up and a sleeved shirt for men in the dining and bar areas. La Sala by the Sea asks for smart beachwear. All three refuse hen and stag props, La Sala and Ocean Club refuse fancy dress, and Nikki and Ocean Club refuse sportswear.

What Gets Turned Away

Nikki Beach's door policy refuses sports or athletic wear, sleeveless shirts, hoods, matching group outfits, offensive prints, glitter, body paint and carotene tanning gels, and does not allow topless sunbathing. Ocean Club refuses fancy dress, body glitter, face gems and hen accessories, asks guests to avoid sportswear, and bans carotene or tinted tanning lotion. La Sala by the Sea refuses fancy dress and body glitter, and while matching swimsuits are fine there, stag and hen props are not.

Dressing as a Couple

For men: swim shorts for the pool, plus a linen shirt with sleeves and loafers or sandals for lunch. For women: a swimsuit with a cover-up or a beach dress, flat sandals and sunglasses. We brief companions the same way and add one thing clients forget: if the day continues to dinner, the evening outfit needs to travel too, because nobody wants to arrive at a 22:00 table in a cover-up. Nikki Beach does not allow dining in swimwear, so the cover-up is not optional.

Arrival Cut-Offs and the Season's Last Sundays

The prepaid bed is only guaranteed for a few hours. La Sala releases beds not claimed between 11:00 and 12:30, Nikki Beach after 13:30 and Ocean Club after 16:00, all without refund. In October the season thins out: Nikki Beach closes on Sunday 11 October, while Ocean Club held its closing party on 3 October.

Why the Cut-Offs Matter

A Saturday night out and a 12:30 bed deadline do not mix, which is why the Sunday bed is lost more often than any other. Set the alarm, book the car for 11:45, and eat breakfast at the club. If you know the night before will run late, book the Sunday at Ocean Club, where the bed is held until 16:00, rather than La Sala. Single sun loungers at Nikki Beach cannot be booked at all and go to solo guests and couples who arrive at 12:00.

After Seven

The clubs close while the sun is still up for most of the summer, so the Sunday has a second half. Choose by mood and by distance. Nikki Beach is the polished Sunday, 21.6 km east of Puerto Banús by road. La Sala by the Sea is the most British, with UK bank-holiday parties; Ocean Club, at 9,000 square metres, is the biggest and warns of large weekend groups. La Sala Banús suits a lunch with live music and no pool.

Quiet Money or a Loud Party

For a couple who want to be seen but not swept up, Nikki Beach is the usual answer: a restaurant with two-hour sittings, a pool for over-18s and a door that refuses matching group outfits. For a party, La Sala by the Sea's DJ deck beds sit next to the booth, and its bank-holiday Sundays carry event prices of their own. Ocean Club is the largest stage, with VIP beds that carry a €500 to €1,000 minimum spend on Sundays. La Plage Casanis is for people who follow the DJ rather than the scene.

Getting There and Back on a Sunday

Sunday fares are on Marbella's weekend taxi tariff, €4.64 plus €1.41 a kilometre. Nikki Beach is about 11.7 km from Marbella's old town and 21.6 km from Puerto Banús by road, roughly €21 and €35 on the meter. La Sala by the Sea and Ocean Club are in Puerto Banús itself, about 11 km from the old town. A Sunday at the Beach Club With a Companion

A beach-club Sunday from noon to seven is a long booking: seven hours at €300 is €2,100, or an overnight if it runs into the night. Puerto Banús and Golden Mile outcalls are €300 an hour, Sundays included, and July and August cost the same as any other month.

Which Format Suits a Sunday

For a day by the pool that ends at dinner, clients usually choose a girlfriend-experience booking, which suits seven relaxed hours better than a series of hours. Payment and Changing Plans

You pay her directly before the booking starts, by cash, bank transfer (to her or to the agency) or crypto; a booking made in advance carries a 25% deposit by transfer or crypto, with the balance paid to her at the start, and a same-day booking needs none.
