Bottle Service in Marbella: What a Minimum Buys, What a Bottle Costs and How to Spend Less (2026)

Bottle service looks like a drinks bill and works like a seat charge: you commit to spend a sum on bottles in exchange for a reserved table, a host and a guaranteed door. The sums vary more than most people expect, and the same bottle can cost twice as much a few kilometres down the coast. A minimum spend is credit for bottles, not a fee; 70cl of premium vodka costs €200 to €450 depending on the room, which is €14 to €32 a serve; and the bill falls most when you choose spirits over prestige champagne, fill the seats and avoid event nights.

What Does a Minimum Spend Actually Buy?

A minimum spend is an amount you agree to spend on drinks at a reserved table, credited against the bill rather than charged on top. Tibu, in Puerto Banús, sets its minimums from €500 to €3,000 or more and includes the table, a dedicated host, mixers, garnishes and priority entry.

Credit Against Bottles, Not an Entry Fee

The minimum is spent, not paid away. Tibu's FAQ says the minimum goes towards bottle service and is credited against the final bill; spend more and you pay the difference, spend less and you still pay the minimum. The figure depends on where the table sits, the night of the week and whether there is an event. What Comes With the Table

A table buys three things a bar cannot: a seat for the night, a host who brings the bottles and the mixers, and a door that lets you in. Tibu includes mixers and garnishes but charges Red Bull extra; COYA Club at Puente Romano includes unlimited Franklin & Sons mixers in its packages; Crystal's Karaoke in Puerto Banús includes bottled mixers with every bottle and adds €2 for Red Bull. How Much Is a Bottle in a Marbella Club in 2026?

Lists published on the venues' sites in 2026 put 70cl of premium vodka at €200 at Crystal's Karaoke in Puerto Banús and €400 to €450 at COYA Club on the Golden Mile. Tibu's packages work out at €300 a bottle, and News Café's list charges €330. The same 1.75-litre Belvedere costs €450 at Linekers and €850 at COYA Club.

Five Venues, the Same Kind of Bottle

Prices as each venue publishes them, with VAT included. COYA's are from the bottle menu linked on Puente Romano's site, dated July 2025, and News Café's from the list linked on its own site.

Per Serve: The Number That Matters

A 70cl bottle holds fourteen 50ml serves, and that turns a bottle price into a drink price. At Crystal's, a Grey Goose with a mixer costs €15 by the glass, so fourteen glasses cost €210 against €200 for the bottle: no saving, only convenience. At €330, News Café's bottle is €23.60 a serve, while its cocktails cost €18 each. At COYA Club, €400 for Grey Goose is €28.60 a serve. The bottle is the price of the seat, and the serve shows you what the seat costs.

When Does a Table Pay for Itself?

A table pays when the group is large enough to drink the minimum anyway and the door would otherwise be a gamble. Tibu's packages cost €100 to €125 a head for six to twelve people; for two people a table rarely pays, because tickets and drinks at the bar cost a fraction of a €500 minimum.

The Per-Head Arithmetic

Tibu's fixed packages make the sums easy: two bottles for six people at €600 is €100 each, three for eight at €900 is €113, five for twelve at €1,500 is €125. A €500 minimum split twelve ways is about €42 a head; split four ways it is €125. When the Bar Is Cheaper

For two to four people, the bar usually wins. Four guests drinking four cocktails each at News Café spend €288, against €330 for one bottle that pours fourteen serves, and they keep the freedom to move on. Crystal's Karaoke has no minimum at all, and Tibu's set-menu dinner at its Kova restaurant, €38 a head with wine, includes free entry to the club. Service Charges, VAT and Tips

Prices on Spanish menus must include VAT, and any extra charge must be announced in the offer. Tibu's FAQ says a service charge may be added to the final bill, so ask for it in writing when you book. Tipping is discretionary in Spain, and a bill that already carries a service charge needs nothing more.

What the Law Says About the Price

Article 20 of Spain's consumer protection law requires a commercial offer to show the full final price, including taxes, with any additional charges passed on to the customer set out separately. In practice that means the bottle list and the booking confirmation should show everything you will pay. Crystal's states that VAT is included in all prices; Tibu that all prices include applicable taxes. A charge that appears only on the bill is worth querying, politely, before you sign.

Tipping the Host

One host looks after a table all night: ice, mixers, the bottle presentation and the walk through the door. Nothing obliges a tip, and the venues' own terms do not mention one. If the service was good and the bill carries no service charge, a tip in cash to the host is a kindness rather than a rule. Check the itemised bill first: bottle count, mixers, any Red Bull, any charge you did not agree.

Deposits, Deadlines and Refunds Compared

The rules differ sharply between rooms. Tibu takes a deposit credited to the minimum and refunds nothing; News Café takes full payment online and offers another date instead of a refund; Olivia Valere refunds a prepaid table cancelled more than 48 hours ahead; Crystal's refunds any deposit up to 24 hours before.

What Cancels a Booking Without a Refund

Three things void a paid table. Arriving late: Tibu and News Café both work to a 1am deadline. Breaking the dress code: Olivia Valere's terms cancel the table without refund if the party does not meet its dress code, and they require payment 24 hours before arrival or the booking lapses. And the head count: News Café's packages show the maximum per table, and Olivia Valere reserves the right to refuse entry, without refund, when the party does not match the booking. Table Etiquette That Protects the Bill

Name one host, run one tab and keep the party to the number booked. Bottles cannot leave the building at News Café, and Tibu refuses outside drinks, so order what the table will finish. Check the itemised bill against the bottles that arrived before you pay, not the next morning.

One Host, One Tab

Tibu's terms make the person who books the table responsible for everyone in the party, and the bill follows the same logic. One name on the booking, one card behind the bar and one person who agrees each new bottle keeps the evening's total under control; a table where everyone orders is how a minimum doubles. Agree a ceiling with the table host when you sit down.

Bottles Stay in the Building

News Café's terms forbid taking bottles or drinks out, and Tibu's forbid bringing outside drinks in, so a half-finished bottle is money left on the table. Order in steps: one bottle, then another when it is two-thirds gone. Shows cost extra: COYA's champagne trays start at three bottles of 2015 Dom Pérignon for €1,500, and Tibu sells bottle shows for birthdays on request.

How Do You Spend Less for the Same Table?

Choose spirits over prestige champagne, a non-event night over a party, a full table over an empty one and a pre-booked package over à la carte. At Tibu, a magnum of vodka with Moët costs €1,100 for ten and the same magnum with Ace of Spades €1,750: the champagne label alone adds €650.

Venue Tier and Bottle Choice

The biggest saving is the room itself: 1.75 litres of Belvedere costs €450 at Linekers and €850 at COYA Club, for the same vodka. Within a room, the label is the lever. COYA lists Ruinart Blanc de Blancs at €450 and Armand de Brignac Brut Gold at €850 for the same 75cl; at Crystal's a bottle of Moët is €180 and Dom Pérignon €400. For a night out, the Moët does the job and the difference pays for dinner.

Night, Package and Pre-Booking

Tibu's minimums change with the night and the event, and its packages are not sold on event nights at all, so ask for the same table on a weeknight without an event before booking a party Saturday. Pre-booking pays too: Crystal's sells a bottle package for €160 instead of €204, with a €50 deposit, and Linekers sells two bottles for €280. A Table Night With a Companion

A companion is part of the table: she counts towards its capacity, follows the same dress code and arrives with you before the 1am deadline. Her booking is separate from the venue's bill. A club night usually runs as an overnight, €3,000–€4,000 in 2026, at the same price on Fridays and Saturdays as on weeknights.

Paying for the Night

Settle the table with the venue and the companion with us, separately. A large table bill is the venue's business, and you pay her directly before the booking starts, by cash, bank transfer (to her or to the agency) or crypto; a booking made in advance carries a 25% deposit by transfer or crypto, with the balance paid to her at the start. An overnight can be changed free until 48 hours before and a dinner date until 24 hours before, as our cancellation guide sets out, so confirm the companion before paying a non-refundable table.
