The Drive

Straightforward on the toll motorway, slower on the coastal road through Estepona in August. Late at night the run is comfortably 40 minutes. What this means practically is that a one-hour booking absorbs an hour and a half of driving on top, which is why the two-hour minimum exists — it is a fairness measure rather than an upsell. Longer than for a Marbella booking. Allow four to six hours in the shoulder months and considerably more in August — the drive has to fit into a companion's evening rather than around it, and a Sotogrande booking effectively removes her from the Marbella market for that night.
