What Is the Real Difference Between the Two?
A short booking is an event with a start and an end, such as a dinner date, an overnight or an afternoon on a boat, priced by the hour or as an overnight. A multi-day booking is a stretch of time spent together, priced by the day, with no clock inside it and her travel paid on top. One buys moments; the other buys continuity.

The Question We Ask First
What do you want company for? If the answer is dinner on Friday and the night on Saturday, that is two bookings, and our hourly vs overnight guide covers which format each evening needs. If the answer is the trip, from the airport to the last breakfast, it is one booking. In our experience most clients on a five-night stay want company on two or three evenings, not five, and discover that only when they write the week down.
Which Costs Less: One Long Booking or Several Short Ones?
Per hour, the long booking; per evening you actually use, the short ones. A day rate pays for presence across the whole day, plus her tickets and often her own room. Two evenings booked as a dinner date and an overnight usually cost less than two days at a day rate, before any travel is added.
The Arithmetic on a Typical Card
Most of our companions publish the same card: two hours €600, three hours €900, an overnight of twelve hours €3,000, a 48-hour weekend €6,000 and travel at €5,000 a day. On that card, a Friday dinner of three hours and a Saturday overnight cost €3,900, against €6,000 for the 48 hours continuous. What Only a Multi-Day Booking Adds
Her tickets, booked in her own name; her own room or a connecting suite, standard on every trip abroad; her meals. A second room is not cheap on the coast either: Marbella's hotels averaged €416.22 a night in July 2026 and €377.80 in August, according to the INE's hotel price figures. A 25% deposit, by transfer or crypto, to her or to us, fixes the dates, and you pay her the balance when the trip starts.
Why Is a Day Rate Not Twenty-Four Hours?
Because nobody is good company for twenty-four hours straight. A multi-day booking includes her sleep, some hours of her own each day and travel days that are slower than they look. Agreed in advance, that rhythm keeps day three as good as day one; ignored, it is the most common reason long bookings disappoint.
What We Agree Before a Multi-Day Booking
Three things, in writing: her own room or a connecting suite, which is standard on every trip abroad; a few hours each day that are hers, usually in the afternoon; and a normal night's sleep. Travel days count as booking days, so a morning train or flight uses the day well, while travelling the evening before adds one. None of this is negotiated during the trip. It sits in the confirmation alongside the day rate, and it is the same for every companion we send.
Day Three Is Where It Shows
Spanish evenings start late: dinner around 21:30, a drink after midnight. Three of those in a row, with a boat or a long lunch in between, tire anyone. Short bookings avoid the problem by design, because she arrives rested for each one. On a long booking, plan one quiet evening in the middle, a room-service dinner or an early night, and the last two days improve noticeably. Clients who travel with the same companion several times a year build that rhythm in from the start.
Privacy: What Each Format Leaves Behind
Short bookings on the coast leave almost nothing: she visits and leaves, and a visitor is not a registered hotel guest. A trip leaves a trail: tickets in her name, her ID at every hotel desk, and the two of you seen together in airports and restaurants. Neither is risky, but they are different, and it is worth choosing knowingly.
Short Bookings: A Visitor, Not a Guest
Spain's Real Decreto 933/2021 obliges hotels to record guests aged 14 or over who stay, not people who visit, and the records go to the Interior Ministry within 24 hours. An evening or an incall therefore creates no record at all, and nobody but you and us knows the booking happened. Even an overnight in your room is one night's registration rather than a trip. For clients whose main worry is being recognised, this is the decisive argument for short bookings.
A Trip: Tickets, Desks and Being Seen
On a trip she travels on her own ticket in her own name, on the same flight or train if you like, and checks into her own room, which is cleaner than one shared booking. What no booking can change is visibility. An airport lounge, a hotel breakfast room and a beach club are public places, and anyone you know may be in them. If that matters, choose the destination accordingly, or keep the company to evenings on the coast, where a companion meeting a hotel guest for dinner draws no attention.
What Should You Expect Over Several Days?
Ordinary time together rather than one long evening: slow mornings, meals, transfers, afternoons where nobody does much. She is company, not a guide or an assistant, and the boundaries agreed at the start apply on day four as on day one. Multi-day bookings work best with a companion you have already met on a short booking.
A Trip, Not a Long Evening
The rhythm of a trip differs from the rhythm of a date. She will want breakfast at a normal hour, time to dress for dinner and the occasional hour on her phone; so will you. Nobody counts hours and no companion mentions the time. The clients who enjoy the format most wanted a travel partner in the first place: someone to share the table, the view and the walk back, in the unhurried style of our girlfriend-experience companions.
Meet on a Short Booking First
A multi-day booking is a large commitment on both sides, and it works best between people who have already spent an evening together. A great many of our travel bookings are with companions the client first met on a dinner date or an overnight on the coast. Start short, see whether the conversation flows, and extend from there. A companion who knows you will also agree to a trip more readily, and on shorter notice, than one who does not.

The Weekend and Madrid
The weekend is the clearest case: €2,100 buys a Saturday afternoon and a Sunday morning, which some clients value and most do not. Madrid is closer than it looks, with the train at about 2 hours 45 minutes and seven to nine direct flights a day, but travel days still count as booking days. Ibiza and the Villa Week
Ibiza has no short-booking version: she flies with you or not at all, and our Ibiza travel guide covers the flights, rooms and payment stages. Málaga airport handled 26.8 million passengers in 2025, according to Aena, so seats are rarely the constraint; her diary is. The villa week is the reverse: everything happens on the coast, five continuous days at €5,000 come to €25,000, and three good evenings, two overnights and an afternoon on a boat at €300 an hour, cost under a third of that. How to Decide, and What to Send Us
Tell us the trip rather than the format: where, which dates, and what the days involve. We price both versions and say plainly which suits you, including when the smaller booking is the better one. Travel needs about a week's notice for a short trip and two to four weeks for longer or summer trips, and is free to cancel until seven days before.
We Will Say If Short Bookings Are Better
We do, regularly. A client planning four nights in Marbella who wants company at dinner is better served by two overnights than by four day rates, and we would rather say so than sell the larger booking. Short bookings also keep the week open: outside July and August, a second evening can usually be added at a day's notice, as our booking lead times show. Travel bookings are free to change until seven days before, and our cancellation guide lists every other window.

Destination and dates first, because tickets and rooms drive the timeline. Then the shape of the days: meetings until six, a holiday, a wedding, a boat. Add the language you need and whether you have met the companion before.
