- Build the week around closing days: Skina shuts on Sundays, Nintai on Sundays and Mondays, Palodú from Sunday to Tuesday
- Three starred meals from the 2026 Michelin Guide: Skina (two stars), Nintai and Palodú
- Eight hours on a Princess V58 from Puerto Banús costs €3,148 out of season and €3,554 in July and August
- Valderrama's 2026 visitor green fee is €600, with tee times between 12:00 and 13:00, Monday to Thursday
- Two people spend about €7,000–€11,000 on the week's experiences before accommodation, flights and any companion
A week is long enough to do Marbella properly and still have empty afternoons, which is what separates a luxury week from merely an expensive one. The clients who get most from seven days give each day one main event, book three starred meals rather than seven, and leave at least one evening with nothing in it. The ultimate week in Marbella: arrive on a Sunday, give Monday to the Golden Mile and Skina, Tuesday to a yacht, Wednesday to Sotogrande, Thursday to the spa or golf, Friday to Málaga's museums and Saturday to a villa night with a private chef, for roughly €7,000 to €11,000 in experiences for two before accommodation.
It is the week our Marbella escort agency plans in the most detail, and our page on escorts in Marbella covers the town itself.
How Do You Plan a 7-Day Luxury Week in Marbella?
Run it Sunday to Sunday, from a villa or a resort villa, with one main event a day and the bookings arranged around closing days. Three starred meals, a yacht day, and a day each in Sotogrande and Málaga fill the week without crowding it. Book the restaurants and the boat first; everything else follows.
A Villa or a Resort Villa for Seven Nights
For a week, sleep somewhere with a door of your own. The Marbella Club, which holds two Michelin Keys, has original bungalows and villas of two to four bedrooms inside the resort, plus Grand Villas with private entrances; a private villa in Sierra Blanca sits five minutes above the Golden Mile with no lobby at all. Either works with this plan, and the second makes the last night easier. Our villa rental guide covers deposits, staff and what to check before signing.
Arrange the Week Around the Closing Days
The order of the days below is deliberate. Skina is closed on Sundays, Nintai on Sundays and Mondays, Palodú in Málaga from Sunday to Tuesday, and Valderrama gives visitors tee times only between 12:00 and 13:00, Monday to Thursday. A Sunday arrival puts every table on a day it opens, and puts the villa night on Saturday, when restaurants and clubs are at their busiest. With less time, our 48-hour itinerary and four-day itinerary cover the shorter versions with different venues.
Days 1–2: Arrival, the Golden Mile and Skina
Land on Sunday, settle in and eat at Sea Grill at Puente Romano, open every night until 23:30. Monday belongs to the Golden Mile: the seafront walk between the two old resorts, lunch on Nobu's beach terrace, then the week's first starred dinner at Skina, Marbella's only two-star restaurant, and a cocktail at Bar La Plaza. A soft start, then the big table.
Day 1, 21:30: Sea Grill at Puente Romano
Sea Grill is Puente Romano's signature restaurant: the day's catch lies on ice at a marble counter, you choose it, and the kitchen grills it over charcoal, bakes it in salt, fries it the Andalusian way or serves it raw. It is priced by weight, from €15 per 100 g for sea bass to €30 for spiny lobster on the 2026 menu, and the wine list has won four consecutive Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence awards. It opens daily until 23:30, last booking 23:00, which suits a Sunday arrival.
Day 2, 20:00: Skina, Then Bar La Plaza
Skina is one of only two two-star restaurants among the ten starred rooms in Málaga province in the 2026 guide, according to Gastroeconomy's full list. In June 2024 it moved from a ten-seat corner of the old town to a cortijo on Avenida Cánovas del Castillo, at the town end of the Golden Mile, with 18 covers. Dinner is seated only between 18:30 and 20:30. The seasonal menu is €349, €499 with the Evolución pairing; bookings are card-guaranteed and free to change until 24 hours before. Afterwards Bar La Plaza at Puente Romano serves cocktails by SIPS of Barcelona at €28 until 03:00.
Day 3: Eight Hours on a Yacht From Puerto Banús
Take the boat from 10:00 to 18:00 and book nothing for the evening. One Puerto Banús operator lists a Princess V58 at €3,148 for eight hours out of season and €3,554 in July and August, and a Sunseeker Predator 72 at €4,800 to €5,700, crew included. Ask in writing whether fuel and catering are in the price. The one day with no table booked.
10:00 Which Boat, and Why the Full Day
The half day in our shorter itineraries is right for a weekend; across a week the full eight hours earns its price, because there is no late night to protect. The Princess V58 takes up to 12 guests and has a proper deck to eat on; the Predator 72 carries ten and sleeps six in three cabins, which matters only if friends are joining. That operator's prices include crew, and fuel is the line to confirm. Our catamaran versus motor yacht guide covers the other choice.
19:00 The Evening With Nothing in It
After eight hours of sun, the best plan is none: a shower, room service or the villa kitchen, and an early night before the drive to Sotogrande. A week needs one evening like this, and Tuesday is the natural candidate. It also gives a spare slot if a booking elsewhere moves, which in July and August happens more often than visitors expect. The clients who complain that a week in Marbella was tiring are almost always the ones who booked all seven nights.
Day 4: Sotogrande or Gibraltar?
Sotogrande, for most of our clients: 46 minutes west, no frontier, and golf, a marina and a beach lagoon on one estate. Golfers take Valderrama's visitor slot, 12:00 to 13:00 from Monday to Thursday, at €600; everyone else takes the La Reserva lagoon. Gibraltar suits a shopping day instead. Dinner is Nintai, back in Marbella. Then the second starred dinner.
11:00 Valderrama, or the Lagoon at La Reserva
Valderrama, which hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup, is a private club that takes visitors from 12:00 to 13:00, Monday to Thursday. Its 2026 visitor rates are €600 for 18 holes, €70 for a buggy and €70 per group for the mandatory forecaddie, plus a tip paid on the day. Non-golfers have La Reserva Club, whose freshwater lagoon with a sandy beach and restaurants the club calls the only inland beach oasis in southern Spain. Our Sotogrande escorts page covers the estate itself.
15:00 The Marina, Then Nintai at 21:00
Puerto Sotogrande, established in 1988, is larger than people expect: 1,382 berths against Puerto Banús's 915, with its restaurants along the Ribera del Marlin. Every summer the Santa María Polo Club holds its international tournament; our polo calendar has the dates. Drive back by 19:00 for Nintai on Calle Ramón Gómez de la Serna, a twelve-seat Japanese counter with one Michelin star, open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, with omakase menus from €249 to €275.
Days 5–6: Six Senses or Golf, Then Málaga's Museums
Thursday is for recovery: a hammam at Six Senses at Puente Romano, or a round on the Marbella Club's course in the Benahavís hills, then dinner at the Marbella Club's Grill. Friday is Málaga, about 50 minutes away: the Picasso museum at 10:00, lunch at Palodú, newly starred in 2026, and the Alcazaba before the drive back. Body, then culture.
Day 5: The Spa, a Round and The Grill
At Six Senses, a Signature Hammam is €315 for 50 minutes, and a half-day pass to the hydrotherapy pool, cold plunge, sauna and herbal steam room costs non-residents €180. The Marbella Club's own 18-hole course, a Dave Thomas design 20 minutes up the Benahavís road, spaces tee times twelve minutes apart and asks for a handicap certificate. Dinner is The Grill at the Marbella Club from 19:30: a candlelit terrace, silver service, Beef Wellington for two at €125, and long trousers required.
Day 6, 10:00: Museo Picasso Málaga
The Museo Picasso opened in 2003 in the Palacio de Buenavista on Calle San Agustín, a 63 km drive from the Golden Mile. Tickets are €13 online; it opens at 10:00 every day and closes at 19:00 in September and October, 20:00 in July and August and 18:00 from November to February. Go at opening and allow two hours, then walk to lunch through the old centre. Our Málaga city guide covers the centre beyond the museums.
Day 6, 14:00: Palodú, Then the Alcazaba
Palodú, on Calle Sebastián Souvirón near the Atarazanas market, won its first Michelin star in the 2026 guide. Cristina Cánovas and Diego Aguilar cook two menus, Alcazul at €115 and Palodú at €135, from Wednesday to Saturday. Kaleja, near the Picasso museum, is the other starred lunch on a Friday. Afterwards walk up to the Alcazaba: €7, or €10 with the Gibralfaro castle, open until 20:00 from April to October with last entry at 19:00. Leave by 19:30 and you are back on the coast before nine.
Day 7: The Villa Night, and What the Week Costs
Spend the last day slowly and the last night in: a private chef at the villa, no taxis and no closing times. Through Take a Chef, dinner for two in Marbella averages €128 a head in 2026. Across the week, the experiences below cost two people about €7,000 to €11,000 before accommodation, flights and drivers.
Day 7, 21:00: A Private Chef at the Villa
Take a Chef lists 758 private chefs in Marbella and puts the average for two guests at €128 a head, with ingredients, service and clean-up included; its Marbella clients book about three courses on average. Brief the chef two days ahead, buy the wine yourself, and lay the table outside if the evening allows. It is the most private dinner of the week, with no room to cross and nobody waiting for the table. Our private chef guide covers timing, staff and discretion at the villa.
The Week in One Table
Spend is for two people at 2026 prices from each venue's own menus and rate cards, with one golfer on day four.

The Winter Version of the Week
Most of the week survives the winter. Charters drop to low-season rates from October, but with sunset around 18:05 in late December a winter yacht day is better run from 10:00 to 16:00. Golf and the spa barely notice the season; the polo is summer only. In Málaga the Alcazaba closes at 18:00 from November to March and the Picasso museum at 18:00 from November to February, so start Friday at ten sharp and save the Alcazaba for the light.
Travel Companion for the Week, or Separate Bookings?
A travel-companion booking, at €5,000 a day, suits a week built on continuity: the same person on the boat, at Valderrama and at the villa. Separate bookings suit a week where company matters on three evenings. Seven travel days cost €35,000; three well-chosen bookings come to about €6,300 to €7,600.
When the Travel-Companion Booking Makes Sense
Choose a travel companion when the value is in continuity rather than hours: a villa base, two days away from Marbella, breakfast as much as dinner. The day rate covers her time rather than a count of hours, and any flights and hotel are paid by you. Give us about a week's notice; a 25 per cent deposit secures the dates, paid by transfer or crypto to her or to us, and you pay her the balance at the start. Our comparison of the two formats goes further.
When Separate Evenings Are the Better Call
If the week is mostly golf, family or business, book the three moments that matter: a dinner date for Skina (three hours at least, from €900), a full-day yacht booking for Tuesday (€300 an hour, so €2,400 for eight hours, with the boat paid separately) and an overnight for the villa night (€3,000 to €4,000). Saturday, July and August cost the same as any other night. Tell us the week and we will say plainly which structure costs less for your dates.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a luxury week in Marbella cost?
For two people, the experiences in this plan, with three starred meals, a full-day yacht, Valderrama, the spa and a private chef, come to roughly €7,000 to €11,000. Accommodation, flights and drivers come on top, and the villa or suite is usually the largest single line of the week.
Which Marbella restaurants have Michelin stars in 2026?
Four, in the 2026 guide presented in Málaga in November 2025: Skina with two stars, and BACK, Messina and Nintai with one each. Málaga province has ten starred restaurants in all, including Bardal in Ronda, the province's other two-star room, and Palodú in Málaga city, starred for the first time.
Is Sotogrande or Gibraltar the better day trip from Marbella?
Sotogrande, for most visitors on a luxury week: 46 minutes west, no frontier to cross, and Valderrama, the marina and the La Reserva lagoon on one estate. Gibraltar suits a shopping or sightseeing day and is about an hour from Marbella to the crossing at La Línea.
How far ahead should I book Skina?
Six to eight weeks for a summer Saturday, less in the shoulder months. Skina has 18 covers, seats dinner only between 18:30 and 20:30 and is closed on Sundays. Bookings are guaranteed by card, and changes are free until 24 hours before; after that, missing guests are charged.
Should I rent a villa or stay in a hotel for a week in Marbella?
For a full week, a villa or a resort villa. The Marbella Club's own villas have two to four bedrooms, and a private villa in Sierra Blanca is five minutes above the Golden Mile. Hotel rooms win for short stays and service; a villa wins on privacy and on the final night.
Planning the Whole Week?
Send us your dates, your base (villa or hotel) and the days you want company for, or tell us it is the whole week. We will say plainly whether a travel-companion booking or separate evenings suits the plan, confirm availability and give you the price for the week.
