How far ahead you need to book depends on three things: what the booking is, when it falls, and whether anything else is happening that week. A Tuesday in February and a Saturday in August are different markets, and an overnight asks more of a companion's diary than two hours do. How Far in Advance Should You Book Each Type of Booking?
The longer a booking holds her diary, the earlier it fills. In winter a day or two covers almost everything except travel; in July and August an overnight needs one to two weeks and an event or travel companion up to four. Event weeks behave like August whatever the month.

Each figure is the point after which choice narrows sharply, not a deadline: inside it we can still often place a booking, but rarely with the companion you first asked for. Hourly visits usually work on the day, with her at your door in Marbella 25–30 minutes after you confirm, so they are not in the table.

Add Time for One Particular Companion
The table assumes you will take any companion who suits the evening. If you have read one profile and want her, add a few days in spring and autumn and one to two weeks in July and August, because the companions clients ask for by name fill first. Two things help: a second name in the same style, and a weekday. A companion whose August Saturdays are taken is often free on a Tuesday at a week's notice, at the same €300 an hour, since our rates do not change by day or season; our weekend vs weekday post covers the difference in demand.
Why the Season Changes Every Number
Because the coast fills and empties on a scale few resorts match. INE figures published by the town hall put Marbella's hotels at 37.8% occupancy in January 2026, 72.3% in April and 84.6% in August, when rooms averaged €377.80 a night. Demand for companions follows the same curve.
What the Hotel Figures Show
January 2026 brought 20,442 hotel travellers to Marbella at an average room rate of €165.38; April brought 78,711 at €200.14; August brought 83,817 at €377.80, according to the town hall's INE releases. Hotel rooms are not companions, but the same visitors book both, and the curve matches our diary. In January most of the roster has free evenings all week. In August most Saturday evenings are spoken for by the Wednesday, and the first three weeks of the month are the tightest of the year.
Weekdays Inside the Peak
The season sets the level; the day of the week sets the detail. Inside July and August, a Tuesday overnight usually needs half the notice of a Saturday one, and Sunday evenings empty as weekend visitors fly home. The shoulder months tilt the other way: May, June, September and October weekends fill with short-break visitors while weekdays stay open. The Big Weeks From October 2026 to September 2027
A handful of weeks fill the coast whatever the month: the film festival weekend in October, Christmas and New Year, Semana Santa, the San Bernabé fair in June, Starlite's headline nights and the first three weeks of August. For each, the calendar gives the dates and the point by which to book.

When the Event Is the Booking
Being in town during a big week is different from attending it. If she is coming with you, to a festival reception, a New Year's dinner or a day at the polo, it is an event booking: a dress code, a briefing and an evening that cannot slip, so add a week to the table. Duos, Yacht Days and Travel: Three Formats With Extra Constraints
These three need more than a free evening. A duo needs two companions free at the same hours, a yacht day needs a boat and a calm sea, and travel needs tickets in her name and several days cleared. Book them a week ahead outside summer and two to four weeks ahead in July and August.
Duos: Two Diaries, One Window
A duo is two companions who know each other and enjoy working together, which narrows the field before availability is even checked. Outside summer, two or three days is usually enough; in July and August, two weeks, and three for a Saturday. The usual compromise is the start time rather than the pair: a duo free from 22:00 is easier to find than one free from 19:00, because one of the two often has an earlier booking.
Yacht Days: Book the Boat First
The boat is usually the harder booking. Charter yachts in Puerto Banús are reserved well ahead in summer, and a companion is only worth confirming once you hold the date. Book the boat, then us, ideally the same day; in July and August that means two to three weeks ahead for both. Weather is the remaining variable, so on a longer stay keep a second possible day in mind, and tell us which it is when you book.
Travel: Tickets in Her Name
A travel companion needs flights or train seats booked in her own name and several days cleared, so two weeks is the practical minimum and four in summer. Seats are rarely the constraint: Málaga has seven to nine direct flights a day to Madrid, and the high-speed trains take about 2 hours 45 minutes. Her diary is. Dinner Dates and Overnights: Book With the Table and the Room
Book the companion when you book the restaurant or the room, not afterwards. Both compete for the same peak evenings, and clients who secure one without the other usually find the gap on the night. Outside summer a day or two is enough; in July and August, five days for a dinner and up to two weeks for an overnight.
Book the Companion With the Table
The restaurants that need notice in summer are the ones clients choose for a dinner date: Skina on Avenida Cánovas del Castillo, which holds two Michelin stars in the 2026 guide, the terraces of the Golden Mile hotels and the front-row tables on the Puerto Banús quay. When the table is confirmed, send us the date, the time and the restaurant in the same sitting. Matching a companion to a venue is easy; finding a table to fit a companion who is free only at 22:30 is not.
Overnights in Peak Weeks
An overnight takes her evening and the next morning, so it competes with two bookings, not one. In winter a day or two is enough and in spring and autumn two or three; on an August Friday or Saturday, one to two weeks, and New Year's Eve fills from November. Midweek overnights in August are the useful exception: a Tuesday at five days' notice is usually possible when the following Saturday has already gone.
How Do You Plan a Multi-Night Stay?
Decide which evening matters most and secure it first, at the lead time the table gives, then leave the others open. On a five-night stay that usually means one night fixed well ahead, one or two arranged a day or two before, and the rest decided as the week develops. That keeps both choice and flexibility.
Anchor the Night That Matters
A birthday dinner, the evening with guests, the one day the yacht is booked: fix that first, with the companion you want. Send us the whole stay at the same time, including the nights you are unsure about, and we will tell you which are already tight. In August a Saturday can be close to full a fortnight out while the Monday after it is wide open. One message with the full week gets a far more useful answer than questions sent night by night.
Keep the Flexible Nights Flexible
Booking every night of a stay in advance costs flexibility and rarely buys anything. A weekday evening in June can be arranged a day ahead, and the companion you meet on the first night may well be the one you want again on the third, which is easier to arrange once you have met. If you already know you want the same companion for several days, a single travel-style booking is often simpler than a run of separate evenings, and we will price both when you ask.
Securing a Date Weeks Ahead
Tell us the date, the format and, if it matters, the companion. We confirm availability in writing, and because you are booking ahead, a 25% deposit by transfer or crypto, to her or to us, holds the date; the balance is paid to her at the start. Only same-day bookings take no deposit. Nothing else is needed until the day.
