Key Takeaways:
  • The Feria y Fiestas de San Pedro Alcántara runs from Tuesday 13 to Monday 19 October 2026, the patron saint's feast day.
  • The night fair, the casetas and the big concerts are all at the Finca La Caridad fairground, on the inland side of the A-397 Ronda road.
  • Free headline concerts: OBK and Modestia Aparte on Friday 16, Pasión Vega on Saturday 17 and Camela on Sunday 18 October.
  • Friday and Saturday are the busiest nights; taxis thin out sharply after the concerts, so book the ride home before you go.
  • Companion rates do not change for the feria, but availability tightens on the concert nights, so ask a day ahead.

On Tuesday evening the arch at the La Caridad fairground lights up, a firework show goes off over the Ronda road, and San Pedro Alcántara stops being Marbella's quiet western suburb for a week. We know the town well from our San Pedro escorts bookings, and every October our clients staying in Guadalmina and Nueva Andalucía ask the same questions. The 2026 feria runs from Tuesday 13 to Monday 19 October, with free concerts at La Caridad on the 16th, 17th and 18th and the patron saint's procession on the final Monday.

This guide is written six days before the opening night. It covers the programme as published, the nights worth your time, how to get in and out, and what to expect inside a caseta. For the wider area it sits in, start with our Marbella escorts homepage.

When Is the San Pedro Alcántara Feria in 2026?

The Feria y Fiestas de San Pedro Alcántara 2026 runs for seven days, from Tuesday 13 to Monday 19 October. It always ends on 19 October, the feast of San Pedro de Alcántara, the town's patron, so the week shifts around that date each year. Every main event is free to attend. Marbella's mayor presented the programme on Thursday 1 October.

Tuesday to Monday, Built Around the 19th

The Feria y Fiestas de San Pedro Alcántara is the October fair of San Pedro, the town of about 35,500 people, according to Wikipedia, that forms the western part of Marbella municipality, held each year in the week leading up to 19 October. In 2026 the 19th is a Monday, which gives the feria an unusual shape: the opening is midweek, the three concert nights fall on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the religious close happens on a working Monday morning. Our Marbella events calendar for 2026 placed it on these dates in advance, and the programme presented on 1 October confirmed them, as Área Costa del Sol reported. The patron is Peter of Alcántara, a 16th-century Franciscan friar canonised in 1669; the town took his name when the Marqués del Duero founded an agricultural colony here in 1860.

Marbella's Second Fair, and the Smaller One

Marbella municipality had 173,420 registered residents after the 2025 padrón update, according to municipal figures reported by The Local, and roughly one in five of them live in San Pedro. The October fair is the municipality's second festive event after the June Feria de San Bernabé, and it feels it: one fairground instead of two sites, more families, fewer tourists and a crowd that is mostly local. For a visitor that is the attraction.

The 2026 Programme, Day by Day

The feria opens on Tuesday 13 October with the giants and big-heads parade, the lighting of the fairground and the 'Carácter Mediterráneo' fireworks at 21:00. Casetas open daily from 13:00 from Wednesday. Friday to Sunday carry the headline concerts, and Monday 19 closes with mass, the patron's procession and a children's party.

Opening Night: Parade, Lights and the Pregón

Tuesday starts in the town centre. The gigantes y cabezudos, the oversized papier-mâché figures every Andalusian fair keeps in a store room, leave the Plaza de la Iglesia in the late afternoon with the Ramón Mayén municipal band, and a floral offering to the patron follows. At 21:00 the lights go on at the roundabout by Finca La Caridad, named after María del Carmen Álvarez Mora, and the 'Carácter Mediterráneo' firework display starts. The pregón, the formal opening speech, is given this year by Rafael Reyes, director of the Rock Factory music school, followed by the crowning of the feria's queens and king.

Monday 19: The Saint's Day

The last day belongs to the parish. The published programme lists mass at 09:00, a solemn service at 11:00 and the procession of the saint's image through the streets at 12:00, again with the municipal band, and a children's closing party at the amphitheatre at 19:00. It is the most traditional part of the week and the least touristic. If you are staying nearby, the noon procession is worth half an hour: it is short, local and done in the October sun rather than at midnight. Expect streets around the church to close while it passes, and do not plan a lunchtime taxi through the centre.

Free Concerts at La Caridad: OBK, Modestia Aparte, Pasión Vega and Camela

Three free headline concerts play the auditorium at the La Caridad fairground: OBK and Modestia Aparte together on Friday 16 October, Pasión Vega on Saturday 17 and Camela on Sunday 18. Entry is free until the venue reaches capacity, so for Camela especially, arrive well before the 23:00 start.

Who Is Playing, and for Whom

The line-up is aimed squarely at Spaniards who were young in the 1990s. OBK and Modestia Aparte are synth-pop and pop-rock bands from that decade, and Friday's double bill will be a sing-along for anyone over forty. Pasión Vega, the Málaga-raised singer of copla and Spanish ballads, is the most grown-up evening of the week and the programme lists her at 21:00, which suits a concert followed by a late dinner. Camela, the techno-rumba act from Madrid's south, plays Sunday at 23:00 and draws the biggest crowd. If you want one concert as a visitor, choose Pasión Vega: it starts at a civilised hour and the audience actually listens.

Capacity, Arrival Time and Leaving

Free concerts are first come, first in. For Camela, being inside the fairground by 22:00 is sensible; for Pasión Vega, 20:30. Do not bring glass, and keep your phone and wallet in a front pocket, because the crush at the auditorium gate after midnight is where pickpockets work every Andalusian fair. The bigger problem is leaving. When a concert ends at about 01:00, several thousand people want a taxi at the same time, and the rank empties in minutes. Our advice is to book your car home before you go in and to walk ten minutes away from the gate to meet it. Eat before you leave, too: outside the fairground almost nothing in San Pedro serves food after 02:00 in October, and the churros stall by the rides is the last option.

Where Is the Fairground, and How Do You Get There?

The night fair, the casetas and the concerts are all at the Recinto Ferial Finca La Caridad, in the Guadaiza area on the inland side of the A-397 Ronda road, near the Tres Jardines park. From Puerto Banús, Nueva Andalucía or Guadalmina a taxi takes roughly five to fifteen minutes outside peak times.

Finca La Caridad, Since 2022

The feria moved to Finca La Caridad in 2022. The Olive Press described the new site at the time as more than 81,000 square metres, with two adjoining car parks of about 25,000 square metres each. Because it sits inland of the A-397, it is a walk from the boulevard and the beach side of town rather than a stroll. Our guide to San Pedro de Alcántara covers the town itself, the boulevard over the buried motorway and the beach.

These are our own planning figures from evening runs, not official times; a concert crowd changes everything.

Parking, Shuttles and Road Closures

The fairground car parks fill early on Friday and Saturday, and the slip roads off the A-397 back up after each concert. If you drive, arrive before 21:00 or park in town and walk. In previous years the town hall has run extra buses to the fairground during feria week, but at the time of writing the 2026 shuttle timetable and the traffic plan had not been published; check marbella.es or the Tenencia de Alcaldía de San Pedro's social channels in the days before. Expect closures in the centre for Tuesday's parade, Friday's horse parade and Monday's procession, all daytime.

Which Feria Nights Are Busiest, and Which Are Quiet?

Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October are the busiest nights, with Sunday's Camela concert close behind until the crowd thins after it. Wednesday 14 is children's day and the calmest evening. Thursday is the sweet spot for a visitor: casetas are full of locals, the fairground is lit, and getting a taxi home is still easy.

Children's Day and the Noise-Free Hours

Wednesday 14 October is the día del niño. Rides drop to between €2.50 and €3.50, and from 19:00 to 21:30 the funfair runs without music or sirens for children who find the noise hard. The programme also runs a seniors' caseta with dances and competitions. For an adult visitor Wednesday is the gentlest introduction: the casetas are open from 13:00, the crowd is mostly families until about 22:00, and you can walk the whole fairground in an hour without queuing for anything.

Friday to Sunday

Friday starts in daylight with the Las Espuelas riding club's horse parade through town at 18:00 and ends with the OBK and Modestia Aparte double bill at 23:00. Saturday is the peak: equestrian contests in the afternoon, the youth DJ session from 18:00, Pasión Vega at 21:00 and the casetas full until late. Sunday holds Camela at 23:00, but because Monday is a working day for most locals, the fairground empties faster afterwards than on Saturday.

Casetas, Rebujito and Sevillanas: Feria Etiquette for Visitors

Casetas are the marquee bars that line the fairground, run by clubs, brotherhoods, businesses and the town hall; at San Pedro most are open to anyone. Order rebujito, manzanilla sherry mixed with lemonade, by the jug. Watch the sevillanas before you try them, dress smart-casual, and never take a seat reserved for a family.

Inside a Caseta

A caseta is a temporary bar and dance floor under canvas, with a kitchen at the back and a stage or speaker at the front. Some are private and run by an association that will politely turn strangers away; most at San Pedro are public. If there is a doorman checking names, move on. Inside, the custom is to order a jug of rebujito for the table and share it, and to order food in raciones rather than as plated meals. A visitor who buys one round for a table of locals he has just met will usually be looked after for the rest of the night. Sevillanas, danced in pairs in four short parts, are best watched for a few songs before you accept an offer to try; our Mijas feria guide explains the dances and the dress, and the customs are the same here.

What to Wear in Mid-October

October evenings on this stretch of coast are mild, but the fairground floor is dust and gravel and you will be on your feet for hours. Men wear chinos or dark jeans, a shirt with a collar and loafers or clean leather trainers; a light jacket is enough after midnight. Women from San Pedro wear flamenco dress mostly on the weekend afternoons and at the horse events, and smart summer clothes at night. Shorts and beachwear mark you out as a tourist who wandered in from the wrong event.

Booking a Companion for San Pedro Feria Week

Prices do not change for the feria: one hour is €300 and a dinner date runs from three hours at €900. San Pedro is inside Marbella municipality, so the one-hour minimum applies. Availability tightens on Friday and Saturday, so ask a day ahead; she usually arrives 25 to 30 minutes after confirmation. Our page on what a booking costs has the full rate card.

Dinner First, Fairground Second

The feria evening that works best is a dinner date: three or four hours that start with a table in town or at your hotel, take in an hour at the casetas or Pasión Vega's 21:00 concert, and end back at the hotel or villa. Tell us whether you want to go into the casetas at all, and we will suggest a companion who enjoys a crowd, or one who would rather keep the evening to dinner. If the night will run past 02:00, an overnight booking at €3,000 to €4,000 avoids watching the clock while the taxi rank empties.

Notice, Her Taxi and Payment

Nothing about the booking changes for feria week except demand. Send us the night, the hotel or villa, the dinner time and whether you want to go into the fairground at all. You pay her taxi to the booking, as on every outcall; the price of the booking itself does not change on a concert night. A booking made in advance takes a 25% deposit by transfer or crypto, and the balance is paid to her before the booking starts in cash, by bank transfer or in crypto, never by card; our note on how payment works sets it out. A dinner date can be changed or cancelled free until 24 hours before.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the dates of the San Pedro Alcántara feria 2026?

The 2026 feria runs from Tuesday 13 October to Monday 19 October. It opens with a parade and fireworks on the Tuesday evening and closes on the 19th, the patron saint's feast day, with mass, a noon procession through the town centre and a children's party in the evening.

Are the concerts at the San Pedro feria free?

Yes. OBK with Modestia Aparte on Friday, Pasión Vega on Saturday and Camela on Sunday are all free, at the auditorium inside the La Caridad fairground. There are no tickets, so entry is first come until the venue is full, and the Camela crowd is the largest of the week.

Is the San Pedro feria worth visiting if I am staying in Puerto Banús?

Yes, for one evening. It is about ten minutes away by taxi, cheaper and more local than anything in the marina, and Thursday or Saturday give the best atmosphere. Book the car home before you go, because the ranks empty after the concerts and waits of half an hour are common.

Does an escort booking cost more during feria week?

No. The rate stays at €300 for an hour and from €900 for a three-hour dinner date, and San Pedro keeps the one-hour minimum because it is part of Marbella. What changes is availability on Friday and Saturday night, so ask a day ahead rather than at midnight.

Planning a Night at the Feria?

Send us the date, your hotel or villa, the dinner time and whether you want to see a concert. We will confirm who is free that evening and her arrival time, and remind you to book the car home before the fairground empties.
