A Marbella beach club year has its own calendar, separate from the beach season and from the bars: a staggered opening in late April, parties built around Spanish and British long weekends, an August of anniversaries and white parties, then closing parties one weekend after another. We plan many clients' trips around it, and their bookings with Marbella escorts. In 2026 the beach club season ran from Pangea's reopening on 24 April and Ocean Club's opening party on 1 May to the closing parties of 26 September, 3 October and Nikki Beach's on 11 October, with the busiest party dates on the bank-holiday weekends of May and August.

When Does Marbella's Beach Club Season Start and End?
In 2026 it started in late April and ended in mid-October. Nikki Beach priced April as part of its season, Pangea reopened on 24 April and Ocean Club held its opening party on 1 May. The closings ran from Pangea's on 26 September through Ocean Club's on 3 October to Nikki Beach's on 11 October.

Two Calendars This One Is Not
The municipal beach season, with daily lifeguards from 1 June and the rules that go with it, is a public calendar, explained in when Marbella's summer officially starts. The opening weekend itself, with what to book and what it costs, has its own guide. This page covers the whole private party year: which weekends matter, when the themed nights fall and when each club closes, so that a trip can be planned around the dates rather than discovering them on arrival.
April and May: Openings and the Two Long Weekends
The year opens on Spanish and British holidays. Pangea reopened on Friday 24 April, Ocean Club's opening party filled the Friday of Spain's 1 May holiday, and Pangea's White Party followed on Saturday 2 May, the UK early May bank-holiday weekend. Then the spring bank holiday, 21 to 25 May, brought the first run of specials.
The Openings
Ocean Club's 2026 opening party ran from 18:00 to midnight on Friday 1 May, ticketed at €250 a head with a bottle of Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque or ten drinks, and VIP tables from a €3,000 minimum spend for ten. Pangea's Summer Opening White Party on 2 May asked for white. Nikki Beach published April prices, so it was trading before May. Holy Week, 29 March to 5 April in 2026, came before most of these openings, so Easter visitors arrived before most of the parties began.
The Spring Bank Holiday Week, 21 to 25 May
The UK spring bank holiday fell on Monday 25 May, and the coast built a five-day party around it. La Sala by the Sea made 22, 23, 24 and 25 May special party days with their own bed prices, and Pangea ran a different event each night from Thursday 21 May, ending with Boat Club on the Monday from 22:00 to 03:00. On La Sala's bank-holiday price list a deck bed for four costs €625, against €400 on an ordinary weekend.
June and July: Guest DJs, San Juan and the Themed Nights
June brings the guest-DJ programmes and one of the year's busiest beach nights. La Plage Casanis started its guest-DJ Sundays on 14 June and its Wednesday series on 17 June, San Juan fell on Tuesday 23 June, and La Sala by the Sea ran party days on 6 and 20 June, then on 4 and 18 July.
June: Casanis Begins, San Juan Burns
La Plage Casanis booked a guest DJ for every Sunday from 14 June, starting with Amémé, and a second weekly night, I ♥ Wed, from 17 June. On the night of 23 June, San Juan, the beaches fill for bonfires; Amàre Beach Hotel sells a San Juan dinner with a view of the bonfire on the beach, fireworks and a flamenco group with fire juggling. July: Party Saturdays and the Belgians
La Sala by the Sea's July party days were Saturdays 4 and 18 July. Ocean Club marked Tuesday 21 July, Belgium's national day, with its Fête des Belges, one of three ticketed events on its 2026 calendar. Casanis's Wednesdays brought names such as Vintage Culture on 1 July and Seth Troxler on 29 July, and Pangea ran another Love Juice night on 24 July. English schools break up in the second half of July, and from then until late August the best companions book up sooner, although our rate does not change.
August: The Peak, the Anniversaries and the White Parties
August is the peak on every measure: INE counted 346,352 hotel nights in Marbella in August 2026 and room occupancy of 84.6%. Its party dates are Nikki Beach's 23rd anniversary on Friday 14 August, Pangea's Ferragosto White Party on Saturday 15 August, a Spanish public holiday, and the UK summer bank holiday weekend of 28 to 31 August.
Mid-August: Disco del Sol and Ferragosto
Nikki Beach marked its 23rd anniversary with Disco del Sol on Friday 14 August, from 12:00 to 19:00; the club opened in 2003 on the beach of the Don Carlos hotel, as our Nikki Beach guide explains. The next night Pangea held its Ferragosto White Party, white evening clothes required, aimed at the Italian holiday on 15 August, which is also Spain's Assumption holiday, so Spanish families fill the coast the same weekend. A Nikki Beach pool cabana costs €1,450 on any high-summer weekend, before special-event pricing. Book both well ahead.
The Late-August Bank Holiday
The UK summer bank holiday fell on Monday 31 August, and La Sala by the Sea made all four days from Friday 28 August special party days. Pangea ran Love Juice on the Friday, Vanity on the Saturday and R&B Lovers on the Sunday. Casanis's last Wednesday was 26 August. La Sala gives the August bank holiday its own price column: a deck bed for four is €460, with €240 of credit. September and October: The Closing Parties
September is the best month to be at a beach club and the busiest for goodbyes. La Sala by the Sea's last listed party day was Saturday 19 September, Pangea closed with its Black Closing Party on 26 September, Ocean Club held its closing party on 3 October and Nikki Beach closes with Endless Summer on Sunday 11 October.
September: Still Summer, Fewer People
The sea is still about 21.8°C in September and the schools have gone back, so the clubs are open and easier to book. Casanis kept its guest-DJ Sundays through the month, with DJ Tennis on 6 September and Miguelle & Tons on 27 September. Pangea's Black Closing Party on 26 September asked for black evening clothes and marked the end of its rooftop season. INE counted 271,548 hotel nights in Marbella in September 2025, a fifth fewer than in August.
October: Three Last Weekends
Ocean Club's closing party fell on Saturday 3 October and Casanis's last weekly Sunday on 4 October. Nikki Beach has moved to Thursday to Sunday, 12:00 to 19:00, before its Endless Summer closing party on Sunday 11 October, with beds on its lower April and October prices. The clocks go back on 25 October, after which the sun sets at about 18:30. October still had 246,242 hotel nights in 2025, and visitors that late find several of the big clubs already shut.
November to March
The big day clubs' calendars stop in October. La Plage Casanis returns on Sunday 1 November with Liva K, lists a Day of the Dead celebration, and opened 2026 with a New Year's Day session. New Year's Eve itself moves indoors, to Tibu and the hotels, as our New Year's Eve guide describes. In January 2026 INE counted 54 hotels open in Marbella, against 89 in August 2025. In 2027 Holy Week runs from 21 to 28 March, early enough that most beach clubs will still be closed.
How Bed Prices Move Through the Season
Clubs price by the calendar. Nikki Beach has three tiers, April and October, May and September, and June to August, each split into weekdays and weekends. La Sala by the Sea charges more from Thursday to Sunday and most on bank-holiday weekends. The same bed can cost three times as much in August as in October.

La Sala by the Sea's Four Prices
On La Sala's 2026 price list, a deck bed for four costs €185 from Monday to Wednesday, €400 from Thursday to Sunday, €460 on the August bank holiday and €625 on the other bank-holiday weekends and Le Bleu party days, the higher prices including €180 to €400 of credit. A cabana for eight runs from €350 to €1,200 on the same scale. Ocean Club adds a €500 to €1,000 minimum spend to its VIP beds on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Planning a Companion Around the Calendar
The calendar sets the notice you need, not the price. For a bank-holiday weekend or mid-August, book a companion a week ahead, as you would the bed. Our rate is the same all season, €300 an hour; September and early October give the best value on the beds, with the clubs still open.
Which Dates, Which Booking
For a party date, such as a Pangea white party or a bank-holiday Saturday at La Sala, our party companions are the natural choice, and an evening that runs to the small hours is better booked as an overnight than as hours. For a calmer beach-club day in September, a girlfriend-experience booking at €300 an hour suits seven hours by the pool. Most party-date bookings are in Puerto Banús, where La Sala, Ocean Club and Pangea are all within walking distance.
Notice and Changes
Send us the date and the venue when you book the bed or the table, not after. Clubs' prepaid beds and tickets are mostly non-refundable, with credit or a new date if the weather stops play; our own terms are kinder, and a dinner date, for example, can be changed free of charge up to 24 hours before, as our cancellation guide sets out. Peak dates go first, so the earlier we have them, the more choice of companion you have.

Are Marbella beach clubs open in October?
Some are, on reduced days. In October 2026 Nikki Beach opens Thursday to Sunday from 12:00 to 19:00 until its closing on 11 October, at its lower April and October prices. Ocean Club closed on 3 October and Pangea on 26 September. The sea is still around 20°C.
When is the best time in the season to visit a beach club?
September and the first days of October. The clubs are still open, the schools have gone back, bed prices drop from their July and August levels and the sea is still about 21.8°C on average in September. Avoid the bank-holiday weekends unless the party itself is the reason for the trip.
