The first three weeks of August are the busiest of the year across every club on the coast. Front-row beds go a week ahead, minimum spends are at their highest, and the crowd is at maximum density. Plan it properly or avoid it.

A week ahead for a Saturday, and further for a cabana at a named club. Beds are reserved by phone or online with a card guarantee, and minimum spends apply to the good positions. Turning up at one o'clock on an August Saturday hoping for a front-row bed is optimistic in the extreme.
What It Costs

The best month of the season on almost every measure — the sea is at its warmest after a summer of heating, the crowds have gone, and the clubs run closing parties through the month. This is when the coast's regulars come.
The Warmest Water of the Year

How Does a Booking Work?
Sunbeds and cabanas are reserved in advance with a minimum spend attached to the better positions. Arrival is usually from midday, the DJ starts mid-afternoon, and most people leave between seven and nine. Three practical points.
