- "Confirmed" means hotels where our companions meet clients regularly without friction: 13 properties across five areas for 2026
- Five changes since 2025: Don Pepe closed for refurbishment, Meliá Banús reopened as ME Marbella, the H10 Andalucía Plaza became Hard Rock, the Kempinski Bahía became Hacienda del Mar, and Kimpton Los Monteros opened
- Spain's RD 933/2021 registers guests who stay, not visitors who leave; some hotels still ask a late visitor for ID as house policy
- Layout beats stars: bungalows, garden villas and busy restaurants make a visitor one of many, while a single desk at the only door does the opposite
- Small owner-run guesthouses and single-desk aparthotels are where friction happens; an incall or a dinner date is the cleaner option there
Most hotel visits on this coast are non-events, but hotels are not equal at midnight. The difference is rarely policy. It is architecture and habit: a garden path to a bungalow, or one desk facing the only door. This list is our own. "Confirmed" means hotels where our Marbella escorts meet clients regularly without friction, each checked against its 2026 name and status. Our 2026 list: Marbella Club, Puente Romano, Nobu and Boho Club on the Golden Mile; ME Marbella, Hard Rock and Guadalpín Banús around the port; El Fuerte and Amàre in the centre; Kimpton Los Monteros and Don Carlos to the east; Anantara Villa Padierna and Finca Cortesín to the west.
Our insider's guide to Marbella escorts covers booking in general; this is the hotel-by-hotel version.
What Makes a Hotel Escort-Friendly in Marbella?
A hotel is escort-friendly when a guest receiving a visitor is unremarkable. In practice that means a layout without one desk guarding the only door, restaurants and bars busy with non-residents until late, lifts where the guest can meet her, and a night team used to visitors. None of it is a policy; it is architecture and routine.
The Four Things We Look For
Layout first. Bungalows, garden villas and low blocks reached by paths mean no lobby to cross; a tower with one entrance and one desk means every arrival is seen. Second, evening traffic: when the restaurants and bars fill with non-residents, any visitor is one of many. Third, lifts. Where they need a key card, the guest comes down to meet her, which is normal and takes a minute. Fourth, the night desk: at a resort it is one of several staffed points, at a small property it is the only one, and it notices everything.
The 2026 List at a Glance, With What Changed

Our five-star hotel review covers rooms and restaurants.

Golden Mile Hotels: Marbella Club, Puente Romano, Nobu and Boho Club
The Golden Mile is the easiest stretch of the coast for a hotel visit: low-rise resorts, garden layouts and restaurants full of non-residents until late. Marbella Club, Puente Romano and Nobu Hotel sit on Playa Nagüeles, Boho Club is a small garden estate nearby, and Hotel Don Pepe stays off the list until it reopens. Availability on the strip is on our Golden Mile escorts page.
Marbella Club, Puente Romano and Nobu Hotel
Our Playa Nagüeles hotels guide covers these three in detail: Marbella Club spreads its rooms and 16 villas across 42,000 m² of gardens, Puente Romano is a village of low white buildings around a restaurant plaza, and Nobu Hotel has its own entrance, check-in and adults-only pool inside the Puente Romano grounds. All three are confirmed and the walk to the room is a garden path rather than a corridor. Marbella Club's published house rules say only registered guests go to rooms unless the hotel authorises it, and a second overnight guest must be registered, so tell reception you are expecting someone. Our detailed guides to Puente Romano, Marbella Club and Nobu Hotel Marbella go room by room.
Boho Club Marbella
Boho Club is the small one: a low-rise, whitewashed estate on the Golden Mile, five minutes from Puerto Banús, with garden rooms opening onto private terraces and villas of one to three bedrooms with their own pools. Small means visible. The reception sees every face, so we time arrivals with a dinner reservation rather than at one in the morning. For an overnight, book a villa: a private garden, a pool and no corridor at all. Our boutique hotels guide compares it with the other small properties.
Puerto Banús and Nueva Andalucía: ME Marbella, Hard Rock and Guadalpín
Around the port the hotels are larger and busier, which helps rather than hurts: lobbies with constant traffic, bars and a casino drawing non-residents, and the marina a short walk away. ME Marbella replaced the Meliá Banús in 2025, Hard Rock occupies the former H10 Andalucía Plaza, and Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús runs on reduced facilities. Port availability is on our Puerto Banús escorts page.
ME Marbella, the Former Meliá Banús
Meliá reopened its Banús hotel as ME Marbella in July 2025 after a €20 million renovation: a five-star with 200 rooms, 24 of them suites, about 50 metres from the beach at the Puerto Banús end of the Golden Mile. It behaves like a big-city five-star. The lobby and bars stay busy late, so a visitor crossing them is one of many; where the lifts need a card, the client meets her downstairs. For an evening of dinner in the port and back, it is the most convenient hotel on this list.
Hard Rock Hotel Marbella and Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús
Hard Rock trades from the former H10 Andalucía Plaza, the 400-room complex Bain Capital and Stoneweg bought in 2021, next to Casino Marbella on the inland side of the main road, about 1.2 km from the port; guests must be 16 or over. With the casino next door, people come and go all night. Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús, opened in 2004 with 181 rooms on the beach, is a fifteen-minute walk from the port. Its website listed three restaurants and the indoor car park as temporarily closed in 2026, so arrivals are by taxi to the front door.
Old Town, Centre and East Marbella Hotels
In the centre, El Fuerte Marbella and the adults-only Amàre Beach Hotel sit on the seafront by the old town, so dinner in the Casco Antiguo and a short walk back is the natural evening. To the east, Kimpton Los Monteros revived a 1962 landmark in 2025, and Don Carlos spreads across gardens on Elviria beach.
El Fuerte Marbella and Amàre Beach Hotel
El Fuerte is the large seafront hotel at the edge of the old town; Amàre, also on the central seafront, admits only guests aged 16 and over, so the late crowd is couples and friends rather than families. Both are city hotels in feel: a proper lobby, lifts and a night desk used to guests returning from dinner with company. The old town's restaurants are a short walk away, which makes a dinner date here the simplest evening on the coast, with no taxi either way.
Kimpton Los Monteros and Don Carlos Marbella
Kimpton Los Monteros opened on 27 February 2025 in the restored Los Monteros, the 1962 hotel that was the first in Spain to earn a Michelin star: 195 rooms including 60 suites, 500 metres from the sea, according to IHG. Smaller lobby, calmer evenings, so we brief arrivals for a set time. Don Carlos, on Elviria beach, sits in 20,000 m² of tropical gardens and reopened after a multi-year renovation with Spain's first Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre. Both are fifteen to twenty minutes from Puerto Banús; our East Marbella guide covers the evenings.
Estepona, Benahavís and Casares: Resorts With Space
West of Puerto Banús the properties are resorts with room to spread out: Anantara Villa Padierna Palace on the Los Flamingos golf estate in Benahavís, with pool villas apart from the palace building, and Finca Cortesín in Casares, 67 suites plus private villas. The former Kempinski Bahía, relaunched by Meliá in 2026 as Hacienda del Mar, is under review. Allow for the drive.
Anantara Villa Padierna Palace and Finca Cortesín
Villa Padierna is a palace-style hotel of about 130 rooms, suites and pool villas among three golf courses, ten to fifteen minutes from Puerto Banús. For a visit, the villas are the point: a private pool and a separate building, with no corridor. Finca Cortesín, about 35 minutes west of the port in Casares, pairs 67 suites with a handful of villas; our Finca Cortesín guide covers it in depth. Bookings at either are handled like our Estepona escorts: Benahavís and Estepona are outside Marbella, so the minimum is two hours and her taxi is paid by you, and Casares, further out, is quoted when you ask.
Hacienda del Mar: The Former Kempinski, Under Review
The Kempinski Hotel Bahía, on the beach at Estepona, closed in autumn 2025 and reopened in 2026 under Meliá as Hacienda del Mar, part of the Meliá Collection, after a full renovation. It was on our list as the Kempinski. New owners, new interiors and new night routines mean we treat it as a new hotel: it returns to the confirmed list once our companions have worked there through a season. Until then, tell us if you are staying and we will brief that arrival individually.
Guest Registration and ID: What Spanish Law Actually Requires
Spain's Real Decreto 933/2021 obliges hotels to register every guest aged 14 or over who stays, and to send the data to the Interior Ministry within 24 hours. A visitor who comes up for an evening and leaves is not a lodger under the decree. Some hotels still ask late visitors for ID as house policy.
Guests Who Stay, Visitors Who Leave
The decree covers people who use the accommodation; the Interior Ministry's SES.HOSPEDAJES system has been mandatory since 2 December 2024, and records are kept for three years. An evening visit creates no record under it. An overnight is different in practice: if she stays in a room booked for one, the desk may add her as a second guest, with her ID, and occasionally adjust the rate for breakfast. That is routine paperwork, and we plan for it whenever a booking runs to the morning.
When a Hotel Asks a Night Visitor for ID
Some properties ask visitors arriving after a certain hour to be announced or to show ID at the desk. It is house policy, applied to everyone, and it takes thirty seconds. Our companions carry ID and never argue with night staff; the simplest fix is to tell reception you are expecting a guest. Scale explains why resort desks rarely look up: Marbella's hotels received 78,711 travellers in April 2026, about four in five from abroad, according to INE figures published by the town hall.
How a Hotel Arrival Works, and Where It Gets Awkward
You send the hotel and the room type; we confirm the time and brief her. She arrives by taxi at the main entrance, dressed for the hotel, and either comes up or meets you in the bar. Where lifts need a key card, you collect her downstairs. Departure follows the same route, with the taxi booked ahead.
Six Steps From Message to Door
- Message us the hotel, the room type and whether she comes up or meets you in the bar.
- We confirm the companion, the time and the price.
- She usually arrives 25 to 30 minutes after confirmation in Marbella, and tells us when she does.
- She takes a taxi to the main entrance, at your cost, dressed for the property.
- Card-operated lift: you meet her downstairs; otherwise she comes straight up.
- The car back is booked before she leaves, and she tells us when she has gone.
An hour is €300 and two hours €600, the same on the Golden Mile and in Puerto Banús. For five-star evenings, start with our VIP companions.
Where It Gets Awkward: Small Guesthouses and Single-Desk Aparthotels
Friction comes from size, not stars. Owner-run guesthouses with a handful of rooms, where the owner is also the receptionist and the front door is locked at night; aparthotels with one desk at the only entrance and rules on overnight occupants; holiday flats whose house rules bar visitors. None of these is a good setting for a visit. If that is where you are staying, an incall or a dinner date that ends elsewhere is cleaner, and our escorts in Marbella page shows who is available for either.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which hotels in Marbella are escort-friendly?
In our experience: Marbella Club, Puente Romano, Nobu Hotel and Boho Club on the Golden Mile; ME Marbella, Hard Rock and Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús around Puerto Banús; El Fuerte and Amàre in the centre; Kimpton Los Monteros and Don Carlos to the east; Anantara Villa Padierna and Finca Cortesín to the west.
Do hotels in Marbella register visitors?
Hotels must register guests who stay, under Real Decreto 933/2021, not visitors who come and go. Some ask late-evening visitors to show ID or to be announced as a house rule. If a visitor stays the night in a room booked for one person, the desk may add her as a second registered guest.
Can a hotel refuse a visitor late at night?
A hotel can set its own house rules on visitors, especially late at night, and small properties sometimes do. The Golden Mile resorts treat a guest receiving a visitor as routine. Telling reception you are expecting someone, and meeting her downstairs where lifts need a key card, avoids almost every issue.
Is Hotel Don Pepe in Marbella open in 2026?
Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá closed on 15 October 2025 for a refurbishment reported at €40 million, with reopening planned for late 2026 or early 2027. Until it reopens and we have seen the new layout, it stays off our confirmed list. Nearby alternatives on the Golden Mile are Marbella Club, Puente Romano and Boho Club.
Are aparthotels in Marbella suitable for a companion visit?
Often less so. Aparthotels with a single desk at the only entrance, small owner-run guesthouses and holiday flats with house rules against visitors are where we see friction. If that is where you are staying, an incall, or a dinner date that ends somewhere better suited, is usually the cleaner option.
Tell Us the Hotel, We Brief the Arrival
Send us the hotel, the room type and whether she should come up or meet you in the bar, with the time and the length of the booking. If your hotel is not on this list, name it anyway: we will tell you honestly how arrivals work there.
