Where Sierra Blanca Is and What It Is Like

The district takes its name from the mountain range behind it, dominated by La Concha, the peak above Marbella, the 1,215-metre peak that forms Marbella's backdrop in every photograph ever taken of the town. Villas here look south over the Golden Mile to the Mediterranean and, on a clear day, across to Gibraltar and the Rif mountains of Morocco. The views are the primary asset and they justify the price.
Nothing to Walk To
There is no bar, no shop and no restaurant inside the district. That is deliberate and it is why residents chose it. For a visitor it means every evening involves a car — five minutes down to the Golden Mile, ten to Puerto Banús, ten to the old town. Nothing is far; nothing is walkable.

Send the gate arrangement with the address when you confirm. Sierra Blanca's entrances are manned or coded, villa numbering is not intuitive from the road, and a companion sitting at a barrier at midnight helps nobody's discretion. Thirty seconds of preparation solves it entirely.

A dropped map pin, the urbanisation name, and the entry arrangement — a code, a guard instruction, or your name left at the gate. That is the whole requirement. Taxis come up readily but are scarce going down at four in the morning — arrange the return in advance for a late finish. If your evening involves dinner on the Golden Mile or in the port, book the car both ways when you book the table. It is the single most common oversight on a hillside booking.

Rates and Booking
Standard Marbella rates with no travel supplement — Sierra Blanca sits well inside the municipality, minutes from the Golden Mile. Allow slightly more notice than a seafront booking, purely for the gate arrangements. Otherwise it is an ordinary outcall.
